The Makita DTD158Z 18V LXT Brushless Impact Driver is a compact and powerful fastening tool designed to deliver professional performance across a wide range of construction, installation and maintenance applications. Combining high torque, fast driving speeds and an ergonomically balanced design, it offers excellent control and efficiency for everyday site use.
Powered by Makita’s 18V LXT battery platform, the DTD158Z delivers up to 170Nm of fastening torque, making it ideal for driving machine screws, standard bolts, high-strength bolts and long timber fixings. Its high-performance brushless motor produces up to 3,400rpm and 3,600 impacts per minute, providing fast and efficient fastening in demanding applications.
Designed with user comfort in mind, the compact 125mm body length allows improved access in confined spaces, while the optimised battery position moves the centre of gravity closer to the grip, reducing wrist strain during prolonged use and improving overall balance and handling.
